farrow and ball…

Choosing paint colors, in my opinion, is one of the toughest things I do as an interior designer. However…Farrow & Ball paint makes my job a whole lot easier. The company got it's start in 1946 across the pond, in Dorset, England. They have stayed true to their beginnings and still develop their colors using the finest raw materials, which result in rich, saturated hues. Their colors can be found all over the world! I am anxiously awaiting my new swatch book showcasing the new colors for 2011..but in the meantime, here's a sneak peak!

Notes

  1. I always use the Farrow & Ball charts as my starting point, though I must say I sometimes colour match them to Ben Moore’s Natura paints.

Their charts have just the right number of colours and I love their chalkiness. When I’ve use their paint, it’s always been a dream too.

  2. Thanks Jane…I love BM paint as well! I love the simplicity of the F & B colors, and the quality, it just seems to coat like no other.

  3. Thanks Susan for visiting my blog. No, I’m not on twitter – I like the slower (!) pace of the blog, at least for now. I am drawn to the elegant, yet simple design of your blog and what you post. And I love all things French. Merci!
