pumpkins + punkins
As you can see, I’m pretty happy this time of year. The combination of crisp weather + pumpkin picking + cider + sweater weather + MY FAMILY = pure bliss. I still can’t believe this was only a year ago. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day to head to our local orchard…and we got there early enough to beat the crowds. We had the whole patch to ourselves! I’ll spare you pumpkin shots for days…this pretty much sums it up. What do you love most about the fall?
alsace france
It’s been a few years since I’ve visited the Alsace-Lorraine region of France, but it is always with me. My maternal great-grandparents were born in Strasbourg, so the area has always felt comfortable and familiar. With only the Rhine River separating it from Germany, it looks (and sounds) German, but is, at it’s core, passionately French. The architecture, culture, food and people inspire me – it’s an amazing place. I recently revisited my time there on Steller…take a look!

I just have to share this beautiful gift given to me by our friends Shauna Alterio + Stephen Loidolt. They are very humble and might be a tad uncomfortable with me sharing it in such a big way, but sorry guys, it’s just TOO PRETTY! Thank you for giving the most thoughtful presents (can you guess what it is?), and as usual, the gift wrap itself was part of my delight.
