great chefs event

This week I had the honor of attending The Great Chef’s Event, benefiting Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation. Held at the URBN headquarters, chefs from around the country came to plate their best for the cause. It was a packed house filled with inspiration and of course, delicious food! I was there helping my good friend (fellow twin mama) Abbey Alpert, co-owner of Flour Pot Cookies. Well known for their handmade custom cookies, they have participated for many years, and supporters know to look for their table (I witnessed that firsthand). Even though I’m a tad biased, they are seriously THE most delicious sugar cookies I’ve ever had! There was just so much talent in the building supporting the fight to cure childhood cancer….inspiring. If you are not familiar with ALSF, please take a moment to learn more about the foundation. Alexandra “Alex” Scott was a bright light in this world, and still inspires today thanks to her parents, and the huge community carrying her message of hope. Great cause, great people…and yes, great cookies.

  1. I’m so glad you did a post about Flour Pot Cookie – you mentioned them previously and I always forget about them when I’m sending gifts to friends and family in Philly but now I have this gorgeous reminder :) Hope to try some myself!

    • Yes, absolutely…SO delicious Lindsey! (and not just saying that because she’s a friend)
