Some 2010 highlights…
*moved from north carolina to pennsylvania
*explored and discovered local history and delights
*started blogging, was introduced to so many great people
*launched my newly branded company!
*traveled to germany & france…still more to share!
*fell more in love with mr. fleurishing and billy…(didn't think it was possible).
Happy Birthday to my Mom! This photo speaks volumes about who she is–artist, librarian, teacher, and bright light. It is because of her that I know so much about art (especially Impressionism), love the smell of old books and libraries, can be so resourceful, am an amazing host and can talk to anyone, can jitterbug and swing, write a mean thank you note, know the color wheel like the back of my hand, and hear classical music and imagine an entire story choreographed to it. I’m sorry I have to wish you Happy Birthday from afar this year…I love you.
To elaborate on the family theme today, I thought I would share a glimpse of my family tree. I have been working on it for months now, using what my family has documented combined with online research. It’s fascinating to see it unfold and lead to France on both sides! Fun fact-I’m back to the 1100’s on my father’s side and we are linked to Henry III! My Dad has stated that from now on I must address him as King Henry. Does that make me a princess?!
