soothing “color”
I was searching for the perfect door quote, and found so many great ones…but all I really want to do is talk about this color scheme-it's my favorite! Our home is a yummy monochromatic mixture of shades of white, with black, browns, and grey mixed in. As a designer, it's calming to be surrounded by this when you work with color so much. J'adore!
chateau de cheverny
Last (but not least) in my series of chateaus (that I have visited)…Cheverny. The more "modern" of the castles, the interiors are beautifully furnished, and descendants of the original owners still live in a portion of it, which is quite unique. I had the most fun here, as my brother has always been a huge fan of the comic "The Adventures of Tintin", in which the chateau was always featured. There is a museum on the grounds for the comic book characters which is very interactive-we all had a blast!

I dream of owning a bike like this…riding it through the countryside to the local farmers market, wearing the most adorable french-inspired vintage outfit, with Billy in the basket. That might just be the ridiculous romantic in me…but it’s not only in movies…it does happen! This bike and basket can be found at Adeline Adeline, a designer cycle boutique in NYC which caters to women. These are “living room worthy”…and I would certainly incorporate one into my decor if I had the chance. Until then, I will continue to dream.
