We had a lot of fun on Friday at our local tree farm! With a fresh dusting of snow on the ground, we frolicked + danced our way through the fields, choosing our favorites along the way. I just love the miniature trees, as they’re the perfect size for Marie + Henry! We made time for a snowball fight before leaving with our fresh greenery…it was a perfect day.
As you can see, I’m pretty happy this time of year. The combination of crisp weather + pumpkin picking + cider + sweater weather + MY FAMILY = pure bliss. I still can’t believe this was only a year ago. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day to head to our local orchard…and we got there early enough to beat the crowds. We had the whole patch to ourselves! I’ll spare you pumpkin shots for days…this pretty much sums it up. What do you love most about the fall?
Hi friends! Just a quick note to let you know I’ll be absent from the blog for a week or so. I’ll be spending the last days of summer and ushering in september with my hubby + littles in the poconos! It will be our first extended vacation as a family, and we’re anxious to get on the road to relaxation. You can follow our adventures on instagram of course, and when I return I’ll be revealing my new + improved website!! It’s been in the works for a a few months now and I can’t wait to share it with you. I hope you’re soaking up the last bits of summer with your family and friends…bye for now!
What do you do on a beautifully mild weathered summer day in PA? You head to the local farm, of course! Toddler paradise (aka Springton Manor) is rich with animals and learning moments, in a picture perfect setting. I could have spent all day there with my camera, but thankfully, the kids indulged my lens and we got some great shots in a short span of time. Seeing the kids faces light up over the animals is priceless, and made for a very happy Father’s Day morning.
